I’m alllll about mixing prints lately. It was a little too chilly to wear this adorable gingham romper on its own so I layered it with this super affordable cherry print tee, complete with puffy sleeves and a cut-out back. It’s such a fun and playful print that I’ve been able to style so many different ways. 

My obsession with matching sets is REAL, and this polka dot number is no exception. The print has a fun retro feel and I love the detail on the tie-front crop top.

I grew up listening to my grandmother and great grandmother tell stories about the Nashville and how things used to be. They shared memories of shopping for Easter dresses at Harvey’s Department Store and being bribed to behave with milkshakes from Woolworth.

Spring won’t be here for a few more weeks, but if you’re anything like me you’re ready to start shopping for warmer temperatures. I’ve been loving all the bold colors I’ve seen like burnt orange, mustard yellow and fun pops of blue.

Last weekend Cameron and I ventured over into Germantown, a historic neighborhood right down the street from Downtown Nashville. Just north of the Capitol and the Farmers Market, it’s a wonderful neighborhood worthy of a leisurely afternoon stroll or a visit to one of it’s unique restaurants or shops

I recently had the amazing opportunity to attend The Workshop Phoenix. It was an incredible experience from start to finish. Not only was The Workshop packed full of insightful sessions and valuable information, but everyone I encountered was so genuine and welcoming.

It’s finally starting to warm up in Nashville, and this warmer weather has me dreaming of all the adventures Cameron and I are going on this summer. We recently spent an afternoon planning some of our upcoming trips to Charleston and Maui while soaking up the perfect temperatures at The Greenhouse Bar in Green Hills.

Cameron and I just got home from a long and relaxing weekend in Jupiter, Florida. We planned this trip as part of my birthday present back in December and had an absolute blast. Cookie, Cameron and I were there visiting Holland, my best friend and college roommate from Ole Miss. It was our first time seeing each other since our wedding six months ago and our trip was filled with nothing but dance parties, belly laughs and quality time with some of my favorite people. 

Maui is an absolute DREAM. It is the perfect trifecta of natural beauty, relaxing beaches and outdoor adventure. The vibrant views of the island’s natural beauty will forever linger in my memory. As far as tropical destinations go, it definitely ranks at the top of my list. Cameron and I have been on many trips together over the last nine years, but spending our honeymoon in Maui was by far one of the most memorable. 

One of my favorite parts about blogging is getting to explore the world with Cameron. We typically spend about 15-20 minutes shooting content, and then always make time to take in our surroundings and spend time together, whether we’re halfway across the world or right down the street from our house. We recently spent an afternoon exploring Marathon Village. We’ve been several times together but the creative community of Marathon always makes for a nice little afternoon getaway.

You know your girl loves a good staycation. I was so excited when my friends Casey and Savannah from Hey Wanderer had the idea of a Galentine’s Staycation with our friend Sarah! Whether you’re single or an old married lady like me, it’s so important to spend time with girlfriends. We recently had a snow storm in Nashville and our staycation was planned right at the end of it. The snow made for a even cozier experience and made our stay at the Aertson that much more fun.
