Happy Friday friends! What’s everyone getting into this weekend? I’m spending time with family and gearing up for a really exciting trip next week. Cameron and I are counting down the days. Any guesses where we’re going?! 

Cameron and I had a much-needed date night at Butcher & Bee last weekend.  We were so impressed with everything from the service to the menu that features a diverse selection of locally sourced mezze, vegetables and proteins, beer, wine and cocktails. Some of our favorite dishes were the whipped feta + honey, the avocado crunchy rice and the grilled pork chop with bacon caramel. 

Happy Monday loves! Fall is all about layers, and it’s amazing how changing up your outer layer can totally transform an outfit. Here, I styled the same three staple items (fray hem black jeans, velvet booties and a silk cami) with different layers to create three distinct looks. 

Our rehearsal dinner at The Cordelle was the perfect start to the best weekend of our lives. The venue is located just minutes from Broadway in Downtown Nashville. I fell in love with the charm of the the Victorian home built in the 1800’s that features a beautiful loft style bridal suite upstairs. 

The biggest adjustment Cameron and I faced when moving in together was coming up with a solution for my clothes. We have a master bedroom closet, but it definitely wasn’t big enough for both of us. I’ll be the first one to admit that I have A LOT of stuff and we knew we would have to get creative. 

Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. We’ve seen the first glimpse of fall this past week in Nashville and it has me so inspired to pull together some fun new looks for the season. I fell in love with this bell sleeve crochet top and wanted to share a few of my favorite ways to style it for fall. This top is so versatile and adds a perfect pop of texture to any look. 

 We’ve been so wrapped up in wedding planning that Cameron and I haven’t had many free Saturdays in a while. Last weekend, the weather was perfect and we decided to have a little “day date.” We went to the flea market, the farmer’s market and did a little shopping around town. 

Growing up in Nashville makes it easy to overlook all the history that the city holds. I have been to the Grand Ole Opry countless times. I grew up going to work with my mom for various artists over the years, but never really took the time appreciate the building, the music and all that it represents until recently. 

Oxford, Mississippi… a place that gets in your heart and stays there forever. I knew nothing about Oxford or Ole Miss before I toured the campus my senior year of high school. In fact, I didn’t even apply to go to school there. When a friend asked me to join her on a campus tour, I immediately felt at home amongst the tall oak trees and charming southern hospitality. My four years in college flew by, but the memories and friendships I made in that small little town will last a lifetime. 

Hi everyone! I’m back home in good old Nashville after the most INCREDIBLE weekend with all my girls in Miami. We had the best time and I’m so excited to share all the details our trip with you guys in the next week or so. In the meantime, I’ve teamed up with Dillard’s to create this easy breezy summer look.

Our trip to Oxford felt like the perfect oppurtunity to break out my ASTR Front-Tie Midi Dress. This dress is super flattering and also comes in a beautiful light blue. Tied at the bodice to create a cute, retro-inspired keyhole, this lightweight woven dress is equal parts romantic and casual-cool with its button front and twirl-worthy skirt. It runs true to size and will be a staple of my summer wardrobe!
