Last weekend Cameron and I ventured over into Germantown, a historic neighborhood right down the street from Downtown Nashville. Just north of the Capitol and the Farmers Market, it’s a wonderful neighborhood worthy of a leisurely afternoon stroll or a visit to one of it’s unique restaurants or shops. Just by simply strolling the streets, you will discover charming, historic homes and churches that date back to the 1800s.

We love heading over to Germantown for date night or drinks with friends. A few of our favorite restaurants in the area are City House, Henrietta Red and 5th & Taylor. Rolf and Daughters is next up on our list!

For this easy transitional look, I wore a rust-colored linen jumper (under $50 and available in 4 colors) with my favorite studded platform heels. I went a little boho with my accessories by pairing Stone Drop Leather Hoops with a straw panama hat. I truly believe any bad hair day can be redeemed with a few bobby pins and a great hat. I have way too many denim jackets (cropped, light wash, dark wash… you name it), but I believe this distressed jacket is the only one you need. It goes with absolutely everything and has the best worn-in feel.
