What I'm

Hi, friends! In May we took a family/work trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming! We have been to Gillette before but this is our first time visiting Jackson Hole and we loved our time there. We stayed at the beautiful Cloudveil Luxury Hotel in the center of town and had the best stay.

Settled right on the main square, we were within walking distance of so many amazing restaurants and shops. We love to walk around when we travel to get a sense of what the destination is really like and the Cloudveil made that a breeze. Not only are the accommodations exactly what we hoped for, but the decor and rooftop views fit the essence of the quaint town.

Driving from the hotel to all of the main destinations was quick and easy. Traveling with a 2-year-old isn’t always simple but the location allowed us to enjoy our time outside without spending the whole day in the car. Cam and I still talk about how we can’t wait to go back to simply admire the breathtaking beauty.

Some of the highlights for us were seeing the Tetons, Schwabacher Landing, and stopping to watch a herd of wild bison inch closer and closer to us. We also had the amazing experience of meeting Grant Golliher and chatting about life and horses. He is the owner of Diamond Cross Ranch and he took me and all the girls from my work trip on a ride in the Teton valley, showed us a horse whispering demonstration, and even gave Cameron a private riding lesson.

WHERE TO EAT

The food scene in town is top notch and a few of our favorites were Persephone Bakery for breakfast, Snake River Grill for dinner, and Jackson Drug for a quick bite and homemade ice cream.
