I recently had the amazing opportunity to attend The Workshop Phoenix. It was an incredible experience from start to finish. Not only was The Workshop packed full of insightful sessions and valuable information, but everyone I encountered was so genuine and welcoming. Blogging is such a new and ever-evolving field so it’s always nice to get together with other like-minded creatives and learn from one another.
In just a few short days, I gained a ton of knowledge and skills needed to keep up with the digital world and ultimately grow my business. I had the opportunity to listen to and learn from some incredible speakers from awesome companies like Google, Contently, Planoly and so many more. I also love any chance I get to hear my friend Julie Solomon from the Influencer Podcast speak her wisdom on all things pitching and influencer growth.
As if the sessions weren’t amazing enough, the girls from Bloguettes outdid themselves on the decor! Every corner of the space was so dreamy. They had greenery everywhere, balloon installations, inspirational quotes, a braid bar, a mobile coffee bar and more.
Growing up, I actually enjoyed school and I especially loved college. To me, The Workshop felt like grown up college where you get to choose only your favorite courses. There were about 4 courses during every session so I didn’t get to hear all of the speakers. They offered something really amazing to The Workshop attendees – digital access to all of the courses!! Best part? You can also purchase access to all of the courses here.
I went on the trip with my friend Heather and we had an absolute blast together. Her family lives in Arizona so she was the best tour guide. We didn’t have a ton of time to explore the city, but we packed in a lot in the few days we were there. A few of my favorite restaurants were The Herb Box, Diego Pops, True Food Kitchen and The Montauk for cocktails. She also took me on my first obligatory In-N-Out experience. My personal favorite area was Old Town Scottsdale – there are so many adorable restaurants and shops with a southwestern flair. I can’t wait to go back to Phoenix again soon and do a little more hiking and exploring!
Where is this polka dot set from? Obsessed!
