Growing up, my friend Katie’s family would make the best sausage balls! She’s been so kind to pass on the recipe.
For the perfect sausage balls, you’ll need:
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of sausage (at room temperature)
- 2 cups finely grated cheddar cheese (at room temperature)
- 2 cups Bisquick
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- In a bowl, thoroughly mix the room-temperature sausage, finely grated cheddar cheese, and Bisquick until the mixture forms a firm ball.
- Place the mixture on a cookie sheet, preferably lined with nonstick foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15-20 minutes. Start checking at 15 minutes, as oven temperatures may vary.
