Happy Monday loves! Fall is all about layers, and it’s amazing how changing up your outer layer can totally transform an outfit. Here, I styled the same three staple items (fray hem black jeans, velvet booties and a silk cami) with different layers to create three distinct looks.

I created the first look with this faux leather jacket. Gorgeous floral embroidery brings a vintage appeal to a faux leather moto jacket styled with textural studs for a thoroughly rock ‘n’ roll look. I can already tell I’ll be wearing it on repeat. It’s the perfect statement piece for fall and winter.

For the second look, I styled my three staple pieces with a kimono. I snagged mine locally at e.Allen Boutique in Franklin, and you can find a similar one here. This luxurious kimono from Michael Stars is both romantic and chic. Kimonos are one of my favorite ways to add color and texture to any simple outfit. This one has a plush velvet texture and a vibrant red and black floral pattern.

Lastly, I styled a more comfortable and casual look with my go-to cream cardigan.  It can easily be dressed up or down and is the perfect piece to grab and layer with almost any outfit. Best of all? It feels like you get to stay in your robe all day. As you can see, these mid-rise super fray jeans are quite versatile. I’ve been hesitant to invest in the fray hem trend, but these changed my mind.
