Fall in Nashville is pure magic! The cool mornings and golden afternoons are the perfect combo, and the Tennessee landscape is like no other. With all the changing leaves, everything feels so cozy. If you’re thinking about spending a long weekend here, I’d recommend a couple of days in the city, then taking a drive to explore the surrounding areas. That’s what I love about Tennessee—you get the best of both worlds: Music City and the rolling hills of the countryside.

Franklin and Leiper’s Fork are especially beautiful in the fall! The weather is cool enough to enjoy the outdoors all day and really soak up the area! Cam and I recently had a staycation for our anniversary at Southall Farm & Inn in Leiper’s Fork, and it was just what we needed! It’s a luxury resort nestled in the country, with the mountains as a backdrop, and only a 30-40 minute drive from Nashville. I can’t recommend it enough—it’s so peaceful, and I got to fully unwind at their spa.

Another spot we love is Franklin! Cam, the boys, and I visit all the time, and we’re obsessed. It’s only about 20-30 minutes from Downtown Nashville, and the downtown area is so charming. There are plenty of outdoor activities, too—it’s the perfect place to spend the day with the kids.
