We got the chance to visit the Estate at Cherokee Dock with our families, and now we want to make it a yearly tradition. I knew of Cherokee Dock as a wedding venue, but it is so much more than that.

It is a 13,000 sq. ft. Southern Colonial mansion in Nashville, Tennessee on 13 acres of property. The home is both elegant and charming and would make the perfect spot for a family reunion or wedding weekend. Fun fact: it used to be Reba McEntire’s home! I loved seeing her “fancy” closets and all of the other Reba touches throughout.

My fondest memory from the weekend was having my whole family out for a movie night. Elizabeth set up the dreamiest boho-inspired movie night with High Tone Event, Spark Vintage, Nashville Event Draping and Tennessee Event Designs. We all ate pizza under the stars and twinkle lights, laughed and celebrated Nanny (my great aunt’s) birthday together. It was a picture perfect night that I’ll remember forever.

If you ever get the chance to visit the Estate at Cherokee Dock, don’t think twice. It is just a 30 minute drive from downtown and boasts the most beautiful, luxurious and secluded lakeside experience.

Between the guitar-shaped pool, movie theater, arcade and stunning lake views, everyone in the family is sure to enjoy their stay. We hope to return with my family for years to come!
