SoBro Guest House is a trendy and innovative boutique hotel in Nashville with all the comforts of home. From the ease of their mobile check-in (think: no front desk or losing door keys) to the chic decor and prime location, they really make it easy to relax and enjoy your stay. Located just three blocks south of Nashville’s world-famous Broadway, SoBro Guest House is just steps away from many of downtown’s biggest attractions.

After checking in our suite, Cameron and I walked to Merchant’s for lunch and drinks. As Nashville natives, we tend to avoid the touristy spots around Broadway but Merchant’s does NOT disappoint. The restaurant opened in 1988 inside the old Merchant’s Hotel. Many notable Nashville legends stayed at the old hotel including Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and Dolly Parton to name a few. (How fitting was my Dolly shirt?!) When you walk through the building you can see the vestiges of the original hotel rooms. Original marble counters and tile are still intact and they have done a great job of preserving the unique history and architecture of this renowned Nashville establishment. Not to mention the food is AMAZING.

After some exploring, we headed back to the hotel to get ready for the night. Our suite at SoBro included a bedroom, living room and full kitchen. Perhaps our favorite details were the complimentary French press coffee from local roaster Bongo Java and the Crosley record player. Good music and good coffee… they sure do know the way to our hearts. After spending some time in the room, we went to the Predators Gala at Bridgestone with Cameron’s family. He has two brothers and it’s always so much fun when we all get to spend time together!

After a few too many episodes of Modern Family and a relaxing night’s rest, we woke up and ordered our all-time favorite dishes from Frothy Monkey and enjoyed a little breakfast in bed. Whether you’re a Nashville native in search of a quaint staycation or simply a traveler passing through, SoBro Guest House is the place for a unique and relaxing stay.
