Welcome baby Frankie 🎀

Bringing baby Frankie into the world has been the most beautiful whirlwind. With two little boys already, I’ve learned to really lean into the slower moments – the late-night feeds, the quiet cuddles, the endless rhythm of early newborn days. It’s a season that’s tender, warm and full of grace.

This time around, I prepped a few things ahead of time that have made postpartum feel a little more grounded. One of my favorite little setups in the house right now is my rolling nursing cart, a simple gold 3-tier piece from Amazon that I tucked into a cozy corner of our room. I added scalloped-edge woven baskets to soften it up and filled it with all my postpartum go-tos -things I’ve loved and trusted with each baby.

My bedside cart has been a game changer. I stocked it with everything I know I’ll reach for daily. The Momcozy silver nursing cups have truly been a game changer for healing and early-day comfort, and the Nemah organic nipple balm is so soothing and clean, I always keep it within reach. I have both the Haakaa and Boon Trove manual pumps tucked in for when I need quick relief or want to catch a letdown. For those more tender moments, Lansinoh Soothies gel pads and Bamboobies reusable nursing pads have been such a comfort. I’m using my Medela pump again this time around along with their storage bags, which makes it easy to stash milk on the go. My Brest Friend pillow is still my tried-and-true for getting a good latch and saving my back, and you’ll find Comfy Cubs muslin burp cloths just about everywhere in the house right now. I also added a JolyWell night light – it’s the perfect soft glow for middle-of-the-night feeds. For support from the inside out, I’ve been taking Legendairy Milk sunflower lecithin, which I’ve used with all three babies, and keeping LMNT electrolyte packets close by because hydration is everything in these early weeks and they actually taste good.

I fully expected to live in comfy pajamas postpartum, and let’s just say, I was right. My Waverles and Lake sets have quickly become staples in my wardrobe during these early weeks with Frankie. They’re incredibly soft, breathable, and thoughtfully designed, which makes all the difference when you’re nursing around the clock. The button-down tops are ideal for breastfeeding, and the fit feels put-together without ever sacrificing comfort. I’ve been reaching for them day after day – they’ve made getting dressed (even if it’s just to move from the bed to the couch) feel like a little act of care.

These early days with Frankie have reminded me just how sacred the slow moments are -the in-between, the cozy, the quiet. Every little thing, from the pajamas I live in to the bassinet beside my bed, is part of the rhythm we’re settling into as a family of five. It’s not always perfect, but it’s ours – and I’m savoring every bit of it. Thank you for being here, for celebrating this season with us, and for walking alongside me through every stage of motherhood.
