Hi loves! Each year we love to getaway as a family before the start of the new year. This year we ventured down the road to Bloomsbury Farm in Smyrna, Tennessee.

Bloomsbury Farm is an organic working farm that is family owned and operated. On over 400 acres of farmland and only 35 minutes from downtown Nashville… it’s truly a dream place to relax and unwind. The loft itself is a little hidden gem. It’s on top of a barn and has everything you need.

The rental has one bedroom with a king-sized bed, a full kitchen, bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a laundry room. The bedroom is the perfect place to relax and has a large window that overlooks farmland. We loved looking out the window each morning to see all the horses grazing in the pasture. It is furnished with beautiful antiques. We brought groceries and cooked our own meals. When we found it on Airbnb, I knew it was exactly what we were looking for.

The Loft at Bloomsbury Farm is close to Nolensville, TN which is a friendly southern town with tons of character. We visited the Amish Market, a few antique stores and had lunch at Brothers Burger Joint.

Remy is 18 months old and he loved feeding the horses, exploring the property and seeing the animals on the farm. The whole property is very family friendly for children of all ages. 18 months has been SUCH a fun age and I love watching more and more of his personality unfold every day. He is saying so many words and making us laugh. This has to be my favorite stage yet, but it all just keeps getting better.
