We celebrated Cameron’s 29th birthday in Santa Rosa, Florida last fall and it was just what we needed for a change of scenery and relaxing vacation. To be honest I was nervous about traveling this year, but we were able to make minimal stops on our road trip, keep socially distant on the beach and order groceries once we got there.
For the first half of the trip we stayed at Osprey Pointe. It is an awesome new property from Sandestin located on the bay. Our room was everything we needed and perfect for traveling with a baby. We had a full kitchen and the rooms are beautifully decorated. They just opened earlier last year and everything is brand new. I personally loved the wrap-around porch that overlooks the bay.
The second half we met both of our parents and Mimi at a Five Star Property home. My in-laws have rented from this company several times and always had such a great experience. It was just a short walk from the beach and had an awesome layout. Even though our families have spent a lot of time at home with Remy, there is something different and special about all waking up together under the same roof. I am so glad we were able to make this trip happen! I will never forget these special moments like Remy’s first time putting his toes in the sand, nursing him on the beach, long walks with Cam and slow mornings sipping coffee with our family on the porch. These are memories I will cherish forever.
