We recently took a trip to the beautiful ‘Cabin on the Hill‘ in Cookeville. We have now stayed at 3 of their properties, and we leave feeling so refreshed after each trip. Each one has its own unique vibe and feel, but they all bring the same sense of peace and tranquility. They always make us remember to slow down and appreciate the smallest moments. All of her properties are the perfect place to unplug and spend some quality time away from the hustle of everyday life.

I will forever have a vivid memory of Remy walking around this cabin and exploring the property with his little wobbly steps and toothy grin. There’s nothing like cozying up with the people you love and taking some time to unwind. It is so good for the mind and soul to just check out for a few days, and we always come home feeling more inspired. This specific location has Scandinavian-decor. I love the touch of modern mixed with the rustic log cabin.

If you are looking for a getaway outside of Nashville, I highly recommend any of Anna’s properties/Airbnb listings! They are so accessible and perfect in every way. She has built them close enough to town that if you need anything its just a short drive but far enough out so you truly feel isolated.
