If you’re planning a summer visit to Nashville with the kids, I’ve got a few recommendations for you! We love spending the day in Franklin, which is just about 20-30 minutes from Downtown Nashville. The downtown area in Franklin is so charming, and there are plenty of outdoor activities in the area. We especially love Pinkerton Park and a quick trip to the quanity town of Leipers Fork.
If you have little ones, the Nashville Zoo is a must-see. Our kids love it! Another fun spot is the Williamson County Rec Center, which has a splash pad/ water park that’s perfect for cooling off in the summer. While you’re in Nashville, make sure to check out Broadway during the daytime and the 12 South Farmers Market. Both are unique experiences for the whole family. And if you’re up for a hike, Radnor Lake is one of our favorite spots and so special to us!
