We decided to look at wedding dresses on Saturday. Wedding dress shopping is something that has given me anxiety for weeks now! I am about 5’ nothing and can be really picky about the way things fit me. In fact, I have been known to go through five different dress options for any given event. 

I’m telling you all this to explain what a miracle it was to have a totally stress free, pressure free dress shopping experience. I went with my mom, my maids of honor, my future mother-in-law, and my Mimi. They were all so supportive and made it so FUN! 

We went to The Dress Theory and I cannot speak enough praises. Bri made it such a personalized and memorable experience. The Germantown wedding dress boutique specializes in light, unstructured gowns in non-traditional shapes. I’m not saying I said yes to the dress because I am in no hurry, but I may have found the one. (FYI it’s not the one pictured below!) We checked so many wedding-related things off the list this weekend, but my favorite part was spending time and making memories with some of the most important people in my life. Thanks for reading!
