Happy December babes! I don’t know about you guys, but I am loving every minute of this month. Between my birthday and all of the holiday festivities there are so many fun events happening. I just love the hustle and bustle of the season and the quality time with friends and family.
I team up with my friend Brooke Webb of KBStyled each month to show you how to style different pieces in your 20’s and 30’s. We typically find similar pieces or trends that we love and add our own unique twist to it. This month we thought we’d switch things up a bit and bring you our different takes on HOLIDAY MAKEUP. We both tend to get stuck in the rut of doing our makeup the same way so we brought in our makeup and beauty guru Jen from Parlour 3 to bring you guys some fun and fresh holiday looks! Jen is our go-to gal for all things brows, nails and makeup.

“I wanted to create two different looks that were festive but not your typical ‘gold eye with red lip holiday look.’ I used my new favorite palette from Dose of Colors: The Desi X Katy Frendcation Palette to create both of the fun festive looks.
I wanted Brooke’s green/blue eyes to really pop! So I chose a beautiful cranberry shimmer with rose gold accents on the lid paired with Red Cherry Lashes in Savannah. On her skin I wanted her to be as radiant and glowy as possible so I used the Nars Radiant Longwear Foundation set with the La Mer Translucent Powder for the perfect finish. I added in some bronze and a peachy blush for some color and use my favorite highlighter from Charlotte Tilbury The Gold bar. I kept her lips neutral (as the eyes are the star of the show) and I chose MAC Lipstick in shade ‘Hug Me.
On Hunter I really wanted to spice things up and give her more of a sultry look for her festive look. Again, using the Frendcation Palette I went with the prettiest shimmer on her lid. The color is called “Just a Kiss”. I paired it with a fun winged liner and rich neutral brows throughout her crease. Hunter has the best brows so I wanted to showcase them by making them a little bolder than she typically fills them in. I used the Anastasia of Beverly Hills Brow Wiz pencil in Caramel.
I also wanted to keep her skin radiant and glowy so I used the same Nars Radiant Longwear foundation set with La Mer Translucent Powder. I bronzed her with Mac Give Me Sun to give her a warm glow and also used the Charlotte Tilbury Gold Bar Highlighter. I wanted Hunter’s eyes to be the star of the show so we kept it neutral on her lips with Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick in Pillow talk. To set these perfect festive holiday look, I used Cover FX Illuminating Setting Spray to keep the glow all night long!”
