As I sit here with my 2nd little bundle of joy, Radnor, who’s now five months old, I can’t help but reflect on how far I’ve come along. I’ve grown so much since becoming a mom, and I wouldn’t want it any other way! My boys have taught me so many life lessons.
One thing I’ve learned in motherhood is the importance of taking time for myself, even just a few minutes. Like many moms in the newborn bubble, I took a break from my regular workouts for a few months. And you know what? That’s absolutely okay! Whether you’re a first-time momma or recently welcomed another little one into your family, always embrace and accept your body through all the phases. After all, you just created another human being – that’s an amazing achievement!
Now, I’m at the point where I’m integrating gentle workouts that make me feel good physically but also mentally. One of the biggest game changers during this phase is the right workout clothes! I’ve been loving Free People Movement activewear. The Hot Shot dress is great for morning walks and the Never Better Square Neck Bra and Leggings are so supportive for my Barre classes. Not only do they make exercising more enjoyable, but they also provide the comfort and support I need during my workouts.
With summer in full swing, I thought I’d share some of my favorite workout clothes that have become my uniform.
Free People Righteous Runsie is the definition of an effortless and cute workout outfit. The best part is that it has tummy support and a built-in sports bra. Since it’s a romper, I can throw it on knowing it looks good. I love that it comes in so many fun colors too!
It’s no surprise that I love FP Movement. The Free People Good Karma Ruched Crop Tank is flattering and easy to throw on with the Free People Get Your Flirt On Shorts. Another great option is the Free People Easy Tiger Shorts and Free People Maternity Crop Top. Perfect for family walks!
3 fun matching sets that make me feel supported! The Breathe Deeper Crop Tank and Leggings have ruched detailing and cap sleeve. The Never Better Square Neck Bra and Leggings are my workout staples. It’s a classic style that comes in many colors. This It’s An Illusion Set is great for low-impact workouts. I take Barre classes and it’s perfect! Finally, Abercrombie has been killing it! Love this retro-looking set.
This L Space Patterson Dress is one of my everyday staples for summer!
