This Privacy Policy explains how hunterpremo.com ("the Site," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit the Site, subscribe to our newsletter, leave a comment, or otherwise interact with us.
The Site is operated by Premo Collective LLC, based in Tennessee, United States. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at hello@hunterpremo.com.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us directly
Newsletter signup. Your first name, last name, and email address when you subscribe.
Comments. Your name, email address, website (if provided), comment content, IP address, and browser user agent string. WordPress may use an anonymized version of your email address (a hash) to check whether you have a Gravatar profile picture.
Contact and collaboration inquiries. Any information you include when you email us or submit a form, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by us and by our service providers:
IP address and general location derived from it (typically city or region level)
Browser type, operating system, and device type
Pages you view, links you click, and time spent on pages
The website or app that referred you to us, including search engines and social platforms such as Pinterest

The Site uses cookies, pixels, tags, and local storage. These are small files or scripts that let us and our partners recognize your browser, remember preferences, measure traffic, and deliver and measure advertising. See Section 5 for how to control them.
2. Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors find and use the Site. These tools collect information such as pages viewed, session duration, referral source, approximate location, and device type. Google may use this data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

3. Advertising
The Site displays third-party advertising.
Journey by Mediavine. We work with Mediavine to manage third-party advertising on the Site. Mediavine and its advertising partners may collect and use data such as your IP address, device identifiers, browser information, and browsing activity in order to serve advertisements, measure their performance, and limit how often you see the same ad. Some of this advertising may be personalized based on your interests and prior browsing.

4. Email marketing
Our newsletter is delivered through Flodesk. When you subscribe, your name and email address are stored with Flodesk, and we may see aggregate information about whether emails were opened and which links were clicked.
Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@hunterpremo.com and ask to be removed at any time.
5. How to control cookies
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Instructions for common browsers:
Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies
Safari: Settings, then Privacy
Firefox: Settings, then Privacy & Security
Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions
Blocking cookies may cause parts of the Site to stop working as intended. Blocking cookies does not remove advertising.
If you are in a region where a consent banner is shown, you can change your choices at any time through that banner.
6. Affiliate links and sponsored content
Many posts on this Site contain affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate networks and merchants may set their own cookies to attribute a purchase to this Site, and they process data under their own privacy policies.

8. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We share information with:
Service providers who help us run the Site, including our host (WP Engine), site platform (ShowIt and WordPress), email provider (Flodesk), analytics provider (Google), and advertising partner (Mediavine and its ad partners)
Affiliate networks, where required to attribute a purchase
Legal and safety recipients, where we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others
A successor, if the Site or its assets are acquired or transferred
Note that some privacy laws, including in California, define "sale" and "sharing" broadly enough to include certain uses of cookies for targeted advertising. Where those laws apply, you can exercise your opt-out rights as described in Section 10.
9. Comments and user content
If you leave a comment, it and its metadata are retained indefinitely so that follow-up comments can be recognized and approved automatically. Comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Do not post information in a comment that you do not want to be publicly visible.
10. Your privacy rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom
You have the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, and to object to processing including direct marketing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
If you are in California
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, used, and disclosed; to request deletion; to request correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
If you are elsewhere in the United States
Several states, including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and Montana, provide similar rights. We honor these requests regardless of where you live.
How to exercise your rights
Email hello@hunterpremo.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us what you would like us to do. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
You may also use the consent controls provided by our advertising partner and the industry opt-out tools listed in Section 3.
Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control signal where it is transmitted by your browser and where required by law.
11. Data retention
Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe or ask to be deleted
Comments: indefinitely, unless you ask us to remove them
Analytics data: according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics
Email correspondence: as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for our records
12. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email hello@hunterpremo.com and we will delete it.
Although this Site publishes content about parenting and family life, it is written for adults.
13. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, including HTTPS encryption across the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Links to other websites
The Site links to third-party websites, including retailers, brand partners, and social platforms. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
15. International visitors
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be noted more prominently. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
