DIY Garment Rack

DIY Garment Rack

One of my first ideas for my closet was a garment rack. It makes it so much easier to keep my new items from getting lost in the clutter of the closet and also keeps me on track for my blog collaborations. Every garment rack I found online was either really boring or ridiculously expensive… so Cameron and I headed to Home Depot and decided to make our own.

Don’t be intimidated by the list of supplies below! I promise this is an easy DIY. It’s also a great way to save money while making a unique and functional piece for your closet or bedroom.

  • 1/2″ Steel Conduit Pipe
  • 2 Floor Flanges
  • 2 Elbow Joints
  • 8 Brass Screws
  • 16 Standard Wood Screws
  • 4 Casters
  • Gold Spray Paint
  • Wood Base

Step 1: Spray paint your

Step 2: Screw the casters into the base. Next up was screwing down the floor flanges to the top of the base, inserting the two pipes and the elbow joints, and finally the middle pipe.

That’s it! Super simple. Be sure to tag me in your photos if you decide to create a garment rack of your own!
