The short version

Many of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, I may earn a small commission. It never costs you anything extra. Some posts are sponsored, and some products were sent to me for free. Those are always labeled.

I only recommend things I actually use and like.

Affiliate links

This site participates in affiliate advertising programs. That means I earn a commission when you click certain links and make a purchase. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be otherwise.

A brand paying for a post does not buy a positive review. I turn down partnerships with products I would not use myself, and I say so when something did not work for me.

Why this page exists

The United States Federal Trade Commission requires that material connections between a publisher and the brands it features be disclosed clearly. This page, along with the labels on individual posts, is how I meet that requirement. The relevant guidance is the FTC's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising, 16 CFR Part 255.
