I think I was subconsciously anticipating Coachella last week with this outfit! I am absolutely in love with this Fringe Embroidered set. My favorite part is that the pieces can be styled so many different ways together and apart.
Lately I've been getting a lot of questions about the dynamic of Cameron and I working together. For those who don't know, Cameron takes all of the photos for my blog and also helps with web design, accounting and pretty much everything in-between. We were recently shooting with some friends and they pointed out how well we work together, and I thought it would be fun to talk share our best advice about working with your spouse/significant other!
I'm alllll about mixing prints lately. It was a little too chilly to wear this adorable gingham romper on its own so I layered it with this super affordable cherry print tee, complete with puffy sleeves and a cut-out back. It's such a fun and playful print that I've been able to style so many different ways.
My obsession with matching sets is REAL, and this polka dot number is no exception. The print has a fun retro feel and I love the detail on the tie-front crop top.
Spring won't be here for a few more weeks, but if you're anything like me you're ready to start shopping for warmer temperatures. I've been loving all the bold colors I've seen like burnt orange, mustard yellow and fun pops of blue.
It's finally starting to warm up in Nashville, and this warmer weather has me dreaming of all the adventures Cameron and I are going on this summer. We recently spent an afternoon planning some of our upcoming trips to Charleston and Maui while soaking up the perfect temperatures at The Greenhouse Bar in Green Hills.
Cameron and I just got home from a long and relaxing weekend in Jupiter, Florida. We planned this trip as part of my birthday present back in December and had an absolute blast. Cookie, Cameron and I were there visiting Holland, my best friend and college roommate from Ole Miss. It was our first time seeing each other since our wedding six months ago and our trip was filled with nothing but dance parties, belly laughs and quality time with some of my favorite people.
One of my favorite parts about blogging is getting to explore the world with Cameron. We typically spend about 15-20 minutes shooting content, and then always make time to take in our surroundings and spend time together, whether we're halfway across the world or right down the street from our house. We recently spent an afternoon exploring Marathon Village. We've been several times together but the creative community of Marathon always makes for a nice little afternoon getaway.
It's still a bit chilly in Nashville, but all I can think about is spring and the fun clothes that come along with it. I recently found this adorable white ruffle top and I can't get over the sleeve details and perfect cropped fit. I'll definitely be wearing it on repeat as it starts to get warmer. I
Last weekend, Cameron and I got the chance to explore the beautiful Historic Downtown Franklin. It's only about a 30 minute drive from our house, but we don't make it over there quite as often as we'd like. We arrived just in time before sunset and took a little stroll around Main Street.
We've been enjoying a few snow days here in Nashville this weekend. There's been way more ice than actual snow, but it's been so nice to stay home with Cameron and the dogs and get some things done around the house
We spent our New Year's Eve at the at a beautiful boutique hotel in downtown Nashville, the newly-opened Noelle. he property, located right next to to Printers Alley, perfectly blends the old with the new.
I hope your 2018 is off to an amazing start. I recently found this versatile metallic print dress and couldn't pass it up. I paired it with my favorite Sam Edelman studded booties for a little date night with Cameron at Urban Grub before the Parlour 3 company holiday party last night.
Can't believe today is the last day of 2017! This has been one of the most exciting years of my life, and I'm so thankful for all of the memories made and the opportunities I've been given. I feel so lucky to be able to share my life and connect with so many amazing people from all over.
I had the best 24th birthday weekend filled with lots of quality time with friends and family. I love having a birthday near the holidays because it makes the most wonderful time of the year even more special!
Our fist Thanksgiving as husband and wife was quite the success. We spent the morning baking apple pie, hanging out at Cam's parent's house and learning to perfect dressing (*stuffing* to those of you who aren't form the south) with my sweet mother-in-law Kim. We, of course, brought Cooper and Puddles over and they had a blast playing with all the other dogs. Then both of our families came together to eat dinner and celebrate.
Happy Friday friends! What's everyone getting into this weekend? I'm spending time with family and gearing up for a really exciting trip next week. Cameron and I are counting down the days. Any guesses where we're going?!
Cameron and I had a much-needed date night at Butcher & Bee last weekend. We were so impressed with everything from the service to the menu that features a diverse selection of locally sourced mezze, vegetables and proteins, beer, wine and cocktails. Some of our favorite dishes were the whipped feta + honey, the avocado crunchy rice and the grilled pork chop with bacon caramel.
Happy Monday loves! Fall is all about layers, and it's amazing how changing up your outer layer can totally transform an outfit. Here, I styled the same three staple items (fray hem black jeans, velvet booties and a silk cami) with different layers to create three distinct looks.
Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. We've seen the first glimpse of fall this past week in Nashville and it has me so inspired to pull together some fun new looks for the season. I fell in love with this bell sleeve crochet top and wanted to share a few of my favorite ways to style it for fall. This top is so versatile and adds a perfect pop of texture to any look.
We've been so wrapped up in wedding planning that Cameron and I haven't had many free Saturdays in a while. Last weekend, the weather was perfect and we decided to have a little "day date." We went to the flea market, the farmer's market and did a little shopping around town.
Hi everyone! I'm back home in good old Nashville after the most INCREDIBLE weekend with all my girls in Miami. We had the best time and I'm so excited to share all the details our trip with you guys in the next week or so. In the meantime, I've teamed up with Dillard's to create this easy breezy summer look.
Our trip to Oxford felt like the perfect oppurtunity to break out my ASTR Front-Tie Midi Dress. This dress is super flattering and also comes in a beautiful light blue. Tied at the bodice to create a cute, retro-inspired keyhole, this lightweight woven dress is equal parts romantic and casual-cool with its button front and twirl-worthy skirt. It runs true to size and will be a staple of my summer wardrobe!
Hey loves! Thanks so much for all the great feedback on my first Style Dairy post. It's a fun way for me to show you guys more of my everyday style and some of my favorite items in my closet.
I've never met a stripe I didn't like, and this ASOS Pinny Jumpsuit is no exception. The woven fabric, square neckline and wide-leg cut make this jumpsuit a versatile and flattering option for any occasion.
In September I had the amazing opportunity to team up for a styled wedding shoot with Janna Brown Design + Draper Gray, an unbelievably talented sister duo. Janna of Janna Brown Design specializes in wedding and photo styling + floral design. Jess of Draper Gray is a fine art photographer.
Kitty does it again with this MINKPINK lattice trip romper. I don't normally go for fall florals, but this works as a transition piece to pair with your favorite leather jacket and booties. I opted for my go-to Jeffrey Campbell black corset booties featured in my last post. The ruffed sleeves on the romper add the perfect feminine touch and my favorite Stacked Collection bracelets complete the look.
I'm finally catching up after a busy CMA week. I had to share this edgy fall look from a few weeks ago. We took these photos in an old tunnel (that my mom actually used to grafitti in high school!) near my house. This Free People Crushed Velvet Jacket is quickly becoming one of my fall/winter staples. It is so versatile and adds a pop of texture to any outfit. The ribbed trim and rouched details give the jacket a more glamorous and fashionable take on the bomber trend.
I didn't even know what I was missing until I visited Kitty, a boutique and lifestyle brand in East Nashville. The owners of Kitty, Sarah and Rachel, are total badass babes and pretty much do it all. They have the best style, are talented singers and songwriters, and are all about empowering women. They even have a Wall of Fame in the store filled with photos of inspiring women who have lived life according to their own rules. Kitty has quickly become one of my new Nashville favorites and I'm so excited to partner with them!
It wasn't until college that I truly realized just how important music is to me. Growing up in Nashville I was surrounded by it. I grew up with my mom working in the music business, but it was so much more than just that. It's jam sessions on back porches with friends, live music everywhere you go and an inspiring creativity that echoes throughout the city.
