Hey everyone! Wow, life has been quite a whirlwind lately and I’m so excited to share what I’ve been up to. We recently took a ski trip to Vail, Colorado and it was just incredible. Since high school, we have been going on ski trips with Cameron’s family. Of all the places we’ve visited in Colorado, Vail is hands-down my favorite!

The city has two large and bustling base areas: Lionshead and Vail Village. We stayed in Lionshead, the more quaint of the two but still rich with restaurants, local shops and more. You can easily take the free shuttle back and forth between the two villages. The runs for skiing and snowboarding are long, open and scenic which makes for a more relaxing  experience. The mountains in Vail are surrounded by blue skies and adorned with fresh powder as far as the eye can see.

We stayed at Landmark Condominiums which is conveniently located near all the best restaurants and shops in Lionshead. Something about the cozy atmosphere in Colorado makes spending quality time with loved ones even better. Looking back, some of my favorite moments were spent gathered around the fireplace, sipping coffee, working on a puzzle and enjoying each other’s company.

A few of our favorites restaurants for dinner in Vail were Tavern On The Square, Flame and MatsuhisaThe Little Diner is a must-visit for breakfast or brunch.

With its world renowned skiing, diverse shops and restaurants, luxurious accommodations, walkable neighborhoods and breath-taking views, Vail is an ideal winter vacation spot that I’d recommend to anyone. Shoutout to the best soon-to-be in-laws for this amazing trip!!!
